NRECA Fly-In Seen As Strike for Balance
Close to 100 co-op representatives from around the country joined NRECA this week to visit Senators on Capitol Hill to press home the co-op message on climate change legislation: affordability, not profitability.
Michigan representatives met with staffs from Sen. Carl Levin’s and Sen. Debbie Stabenow’s offices to share the message that any legislation forcing carbon reductions should be realistic, include a safety valve and allow time for technology to meet the challenge.
